Friday tu, me n nadia g shopping2 after work. thentetiba jer rase cam nk g junctionone lak. so, mase dinner tu, ajak ler junaidy n affizal n diorang pun bersetuju. memandangkan kami2 nih x de kete, so, mlm tu jugak nadia booked a car from Autoeurope (mahal giler sewa!!). On saturday, janji melayunya nk kuar kol 9am. alih2 kol 10 baru gerak from town. Nadia yg drive from dublin to antrim. we shop for about 3-4 hrs, then mcm awal jer lg, so kitorang ke giant causeway. LOL http://lailylie.fotopages.com/?entry=1635359 Sat, 02 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT Date: 23/07/08 Venue: Russell Courts Hotel Time: 6.30pm till late Events: Fancy Shoes n Socks competition, foods, drinks, raffles, it's an anual event organised by TO Society. i never been to any of this event since its being introduced for the past 3 yrs. mainly because i know i cant eat any of the bbq!! so its no point being there and watching others having those juicy steak.. $-) anyway, this year my friend Annabel is in the society, so need to give her morale support gitu.. :-D . as expected, i can only have vegetable burger for my dinner! everybody got 1 coupon for BBQ meal and 2 drink vouchers. the highlight of the night was the fancy shoes (ladies) and socks (gentlemen) competition. Of course i did not win any from the competition, but i still win the raffles--saguhati jer laa.. :P i left early around half nine gitu with Patricia n Sandra. nothing much to do after dinner except drinking n chit chatting (i still hungry n have to cook when got home..). http://lailylie.fotopages.com/?entry=1629470 Sun, 27 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT day 3, tgh hari adelah aktivity bebas. jenjalan n do a bit shopping. ermm.. shopping in prague is not that cheap, but still lot cheaper than dublin. i hv booked dinner cruise for the night. for only 790czk p.p i think its very reasonable for about 3 hr boat ride with dinner n life music. unfortuntely, after 30 mins cruising gitu, it started to rain--till the end. $-) . so, x de la sightseeing sgt. but, the food was lovely n the band also great. still give us a memorable experience 8-) last day, our flight was at 8pm. so, after check out from the hotel, lg sekali round town with another shopping. prague also famous with their crystal. i'm not into crystal as yet, but i do bought few crystal as souvenirs.. :-D tak tahan tgk the good price displayed. ade satu kedai tu, the SA is an indonesian girl. so, sambil beli2 sambil borak2 ala2 jumpa org kampung gitu. last2 dia kasik a very good discount for me, I wasnt even asked..(i'm not a good bargainer n normally will paid whteva price displayed). I got more than 1/2 price compared to other shop! (i did some surveyed afterward) LOL mase kat airport plak, we arrrived quite early. boring2 tu, biasa la continue shop. dekat2 nk boarding tu, kire2 ade coins about 85zck gitu. hmm.. setakt coins ni, kompem la i wont even bother to exchange bile balik kan. so, ade la satu item yg menarik hati. alaa.. yg ala2 glass/crystal rupe cam sweet tu. the price (tax free) was 83czk. so, dgn coins penuh di genggaman, i went to the cashier. then dia tanye where r u flying to? i pon jwb..dublin. sekali rupe2nya hargenya 99czk (plus VAT yer since im flying to EU country..) so i was like .. oh, i thought it was 83. i just want to use up my coins. in this case, im sorry.. maluu sioott.. LOL. Finally, i've been to prague! :horay: been dreaming to go to prague since past 3 years i guess. tapi x penah menjadi plan. this time, mmg last minuets plan, menjadi plak. :-D i still have 10 days annual holiday to use up by end of September. my initial plan was to have 1 week break in august (dreaming of Turkey that time.. :-S ), turn out most of the day in august have been fully booked by my colleagues (only 3 people can leave at 1 time in my team!). so, within 1 week, booking suma2 n off me go to prague! last minit booking, quite expensive, but worth it 8-) Arrived in Prague Airport 'Ruzyne' at about 10pm local time. the filght was 1 hr delayed due to bad weather. the week before. the weather in prague was like 28-30 degree and on the day we arrived, it drop to 22 deg. i think it the perfect weather, not too hot and not raining either. on second day, we book the Grand Tour. the tour was for about 4 hrs, focus on all main attractions in city centre. mak cik tour guide agak garang n quite boring--towards the end dah tinggal separuh jer of our group yg setia mengikut LOL . awyway, the tour still informative and gave us pretty much idea about prague.
